Arcane Crystal

Each guild has an arcane crystal whose purpose is to get broken. Guild members can use their pickaxes in order to repeatedly damage the crystal. When the guild breaks the crystal, all guild members will receive a reward in their mailbox and a new crystal will appear. The reward is a currency called arcane crystals which can be used to awaken your heroes.

Attacking

Guild members can attack the guild's arcane crystal with pickaxes. Pickaxes are generated in the Guild Shop for free or can be obtained there in exchange for expedition tokens. A pickaxe has a basic damage of 80, which can be increased with the miner upgrade in the personal Tree of Life and with Campaign Perks. For each hit, also a 0−40 random damage is added to the basic pickaxe damage:

pickaxe damage = 80 + miner upgrades + random(40)

Rewards

There are two types of rewards: the break reward and the rank reward. When the crystal breaks, your reward will be the sum of these two rewards:

your reward = break reward share + rank reward

Break Reward

The break reward of a crystal starts at 30,000 arcane crystals for a level 1 crystal and increases by 3,000 crystals per level:

break reward = 30,000 + (crystal level − 1) * 3,000 arcane crystals

When the crystal breaks, all players who have hit the crystal will get a share of the break reward proportional to the damage they did to the crystal. If the crystal receives more damage than its health, the reward percentage will be calculated by the total damage that was done to the crystal.

Rank Reward

The top 3 players on the damage leaderboard will additionally get the following rewards when the crystal is broken:

  • 1st place: rank reward = 10% * break reward
  • 2nd place: rank reward = 6% * break reward
  • 3rd place: rank reward = 4% * break reward

All other guild members, even if they didn't hit the crystal at all, will get the basic reward

Upgrading

After a crystal breaks five times, the guild leader and the guild officers can upgrade it to a higher level. The upgrade cost starts at 75,000 guild coins for level 1 → 2 and increases by 500 guild coins for each subsequent level.

upgrade cost = 75,000 + (crystal level − 1) * 500 guild coins

Crystal health starts at 22,500 health points for level 1 and increases by 675 health points for each level.
