Winter Festival Event

Winter decorations in Irongard

The winter festival event is a calendar event that starts in December and lasts for two weeks. Previous installments were:

• Winter Festival Event 2022: 20 December 2022 to 3 January 2023
• Winter Festival Event 2023: 19 December 2023 to 2 January 2024
• Winter Festival Event 2024: 20 December 2024 to 3 January 2025

In this event, Comet, the winter navigator drops candy on the battlefield which then can be exchanged in the winter shop for gear chests, jewel chests, certain currencies and unique avatars. In addition, the town features winter decorations.

Comet, the winter navigator

During the event, Comet, the the winter navigator head drops candies on the battlefield with a rate of 1 candy per 28.8 seconds. The candies are collected automatically which leads to a fixed gain of 3,000 candies per day. Candies are also collected while you are offline and will be credited to you when Comet visits you the first time after you relogin. Offline gains are capped at 24 hours, though.

If you make a purchase in the candy shop (see below), the drop rate will increase to 2 candies per 28.8 seconds for the remainder of the event.

Winter Shop

Winter Shop

The winter shop replaces the fountain in town and is only present during the winter festival event. After the end of the event, the winter shop will vanish again and you will lose your remaining candies. The shop consists of the following three parts.

Candy Exchange

In the candy exchange you can exchange candies for chests and currencies. The type of gear chest offered depends on your character level and the type of jewel chest offered depends on the number of your campaign stars. The number of purchases is limited for each type of chest and currency on offer.

Candy Shop

In the candy shop you can buy candies with platform currency. Any purchase in the candy shop will increase the drop rate of candies on the battlefield to 2 candies per 28.8 seconds for the remainder of the event. Each offer can be purchased only once.
