The valentine's event ("Love is in the air") is a [[Calendar Events|calendar event]] that starts in February and lasts for two weeks. Previous installments were:

* Valentine's Event 2022: 11 February to 25 February 2022
* Valentine's Event 2023: 7 February to 21 February 2023
* Valentine's Event 2024: 9 February to 23 February 2024
* Valentine's Event 2025: 7 February to 21 February 2025

In this event, Lino, the love goblin drops chocolates on the battlefield which then can be exchanged in the chocolate factory for [[Gear Chests|gear chests]], [[Jewel Chests|jewel chests]], certain [[currencies]] and unique [[avatar]]s. In addition, the whole game features valentine's decorations.

== Chocolate ==

During the event, Lino, the love goblin drops chocolate on the battlefield with a rate of 1 chocolate per 28.8 seconds. The chocolate is collected automatically which leads to a fixed gain of 3,000 chocolates per day. Chocolate is also collected while you are offline and will be credited to you when Lino visits you the first time after you relogin. Offline gains are capped at 24 hours, though.

If you make a purchase in the candy shop (see below), the drop rate will increase to 2 chocolates per 28.8 seconds for the remainder of the event.

== Chocolate Factory ==

The chocolate factory replaces the fountain in town and is only present during the valentine's event. After the end of the event, the chocolate factory will vanish again and you will lose your remaining chocolates. The factory consists of the following three parts.

=== Love Exchange ===

In the love exchange you can exchange chocolates for chests and [[currencies]]. The type of [[Gear Chests|gear chest]] offered depends on your [[character level]] and the type of [[Jewel Chests|jewel chest]] offered depends on the number of your [[campaign stars]]. The number of purchases is limited for each type of chest and currency on offer.
