The Chaos Rift is a server-wide activity in which all players on the same [[Servers|game server]] battle one of the [[Dark Gods|dark gods]] ([[Ledra]], [[Yamanoth]] and [[Kramatak]]) in a monthly succession. It can be accessed from the [[Guild]] screen.

== Dark trial ==

All players on the same server can attack the current dark god with the help of their [[guardians]]. Each attack requires 1 [[Moon Stones|moon stone]] or 1 [[Eclipse Stones|eclipse stone]]. All your guardians will attack simultaneously. Thereby, each guardian's damage is calculated from its chaos rift attributes. A guardian's basic damage is determined by its holy damage attribute. Critical hits can occur according to its precision hit chance attribute and the guardian's damage is then increased by its precision hit damage attribute. Double hits occur with a chance according to the guardian's double strike attribute. Critical and double hits can also stack, so there are the following four possible cases:

The health of a dark god starts at 5 million hit points and increases multiplicatively by 5% per level:

When a dark god is killed, its level will automatically increase by one.

== Rewards ==
When a dark god is killed, all players who have hit the dark god at least once will receive rewards. There are two types of rewards: the damage rewards and the rank reward.

=== Damage rewards ===
The damage rewards are proportional to the damage the player dealt to the dark god:

Dark runes are used to buy [[Tomes of Power|tomes of power]] of the current dark god in the [[#Supplies|supplies shop]]. Orbs of light are used to upgrade the holy damage of your [[guardians]]. At the end of the month, any remaining dark runes will be automatically converted into tomes of power of the current dark god and reset. All holy damage upgrades and any remaining orbs of light will be reset at the end of the month too.

The top 5 players on the damage leaderboard will additionally get the following rewards when the dark god is killed:

=== Server bonus ===
When a dark god is killed, the whole server gets a 100% [[All Attributes|all attributes]] bonus called "Twilight of the gods" for 60 minutes (stacking in time).

There are two monthly competitions: the personal competition and the guild competition.

A player's rank on the total personal damage leaderboard of the current dark god determines his league. At the end of the month, players will receive the following rewards depending on their league and their rank within their league:
